We share stories scripture throughout our Christian Education program. Children imagine the biblical context of the Bible story in our "Depth Dialogue" storytelling room (picture at left). The faith statement below was submitted by long-time member Donna Gissing.

"A little about me. I have been apart of Albright since the age of ten, when my parents sent me to church. It is my church family that has seen me through the joy of marriage, the sad time when the marriage ended, and now into the years of my retirement. I have served and been served throughout my faith journey.

Now in my early seventies, retired for six years, part of my job is a passion for knitting and reading. I am an admitted yarn and book junkie, and so recently I stopped at the store for some essentials, my cart automatically veered to the yarn department. Surprise, surprise, I found some skeins of yarn on sale. Moving on through the store, a younger woman inquired about the yarn in my cart. The long and short of our animated conversation led to the following: I am now leading a knitting group at Albright and she is starting a knitting class at the local YMCA with minimal knitting skills on her part. The end/beginning of this tale is that I am going to help teach her class at the YMCA, and she is going to attend my knitting group here at church! The Spirit is moving among us as the journey continues."
